The challenges of e-bike battery transportation

The e-bike market is growing – and with it the logistical effort involved in battery replacement, repair and return. What many dealers underestimate: Lithium-ion batteries are considered dangerous goods above certain capacities (UN 3480 for pure Li-ion batteries, UN 3090 for lithium metal). This means that

What is a 4H2 certification?

The UN packaging code 4H2 stands for a tested hard-shell case made of plastic. A 4H2 packaging has passed standardized drop tests, stacking tests and leak tests.
